AI is reshaping the way software is developed and used. However, how can we ensure that AI-based systems truly serve human needs, rather than just optimising efficiency? This seminar explores human-centred perspectives on AI-driven software development, covering topics such as explainability, usability, human–AI collaboration, and responsible engineering practices.
Students will read and discuss current research papers within the software engineering community, develop their own research questions, and write a scientific paper on a subtopic of their choice. The seminar is ideal for students interested in bridging software engineering, AI, and social sciences.
